Eligibility Criteria regarding age and Qualifying Marks for different categories are as Per Rule 4 of The Medical Council of India:
1) Candidates having secured 50% marks together in Physics, Chemistry & Biology at 10+2 level or any equivalent exam and must have English as a subject.2) The candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on the 31st December of the year of admission.

Eligibility Criteria for MBBS in Vydehi Institute of Medical Sciences Bangalore.
- Admission to the program is given through NEET-UG conducted by CBSE.
- Candidate to score a minimum of 50% aggregate in NEET to become eligible for admission to MBBS programs.
- Interested students must have passed class 10+2 or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together. Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination may also apply.
As per the Indian Medical Council Act – 1956, as amended in 2016 & Dentist Act – 1984 as amended in 2016, online applications are invited for NEET UG – 2023.
The exam will be conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for admission MBBS/BDS Courses in India approved by Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India under Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.
AIMS & JIPMER Pondicherry are only two exceptions from NEET UG, as they are established through the Act of Parliament of India.
Admission to all seats of MBBS/BDS courses will be done through National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (UG) 2023.
