Established in 1979, Ramaiah Medical College, Bangalore, Karnataka is affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka and is also recognised by the Medical Council of India (MCI). It was earlier known as MS Ramaiah Medical College. The college currently offers MBBS, MD and MS in all specialities, DM and M.Ch in the super specialities, PG Diploma and PhD courses. It also offers Bachelors (BPT), Masters (MPT) and PhD in Physiotherapy.

Ramaiah Medical College strives to provide a holistic environment to its students. From various cultural fests to numerous workshops, the college also organizes Career Guidance Programmed, Talks, Competitions, and Seminars.

To meet the need of training the next generation of doctors, the Ramaiah Medical Institute Hospital (RMCH) was set upon the campus in 1984. The Hospital accommodates 1,331 beds and offers all super specialties. The Institute is well-equipped with the latest infrastructure, technology-enabled classrooms and advanced laboratories, and continually focuses on teaching, clinical practice, and research.
