The National Testing Agency (NTA) who is responsible for conducting NEET-UG entrance exam releases the category-wise NEET 2022 cutoff for all medical aspirants.

NEET cutoff percentile for the general category is 50^th and for SC/ST/OBC it is 40^th. NEET cutoff passing marks for the general category are 715-117, while for SC/ST/OBC it is 116-93.

On the basis of the NEET exam, admission will be granted to 92,793 MBBS, 27,698 BDS, 52,720 AYUSH, 487 BSc nursing, and 603 BVSc seats, as well as 2044 AIIMS MBBS and 261 JIPMER MBBS seats in 20 AIIMS and 2 JIPMER institutes.

How to get MBBS through Management Quota?

In order to get MBBS through Management Quota into any private medical college in India, you need to fulfil the basic required eligibility criteria that are recommended by the National Medical Commission of India for Medical and Healthcare Education, such as:

You must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Bio-technology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology, Bio-technology of the qualifying examination.
In case if you belong to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) or Category I, the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together in qualifying examination and competitive entrance examination be not less than 40% instead 50%.
In case if you’re with benchmark disabilities specified under the Right of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016, the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Bio-technology taken together in qualifying examination shall be 45% instead of 50% for General category candidates and 40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates.
You must have completed age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete the age on or before 31st December i.e., the year of your admission to the 1st year MBBS course.
And the last but not the least, you need to appear and qualify the NEET-UG Entrance Exam, whether you’re an Indian National, Non Resident Indian (NRI), Overseas Citizen of India (OCI), Persons of India Origin (PIO’s) & Foreign Nationals, it is necessary for all students.
