M.V.J Medical College and Research Hospital (M.V.JMC & RH)
M.V.J Medical College and Research Hospital (M.V.JMC&RH) was established in 2001 under the umbrella of Venkatesha Education Society (VES) with the vision of founder Dr M V Jayaraman to provide affordable healthcare to the rural population in and around Hoskote.
It caters to 454 villages comprising of talukas Hoskote, Malur and Chintamani. It has all the broad specialties in Medicine and Surgery and also some superspecialities in these two branches.
It is equipped with the state- of –the- art equipment, intensive care areas and all other supportive services. It is an NABH and ISO accredited institution giving quality care to the rural population at zero cost. M.V.JMC&RH has collaborated with BRAINS, a renowned Neurosurgical setup to afford Neurosurgical care in hospital premises.
Dr M V Jayaraman was an educationist par excellence, a gifted musician, a generous patron of arts, a philanthropist who gave without a second thought, a scholar, and above all, a noble human being. He established the Venkatesha Education Society, in 1970. And with that one act, he sowed the seeds of an educational revolution in Karnataka.
Today, there are eight reputed institutions under the auspices of the Venkatesha Education Society, offering quality education in a wide range of disciplines. Dr M V Jayaraman is also the inspiration behind the M.V.J Medical College & Research Hospital.
